According to the British royal family's website, a “Royal Warrant of Appointment" is a seal of approval given by senior members of the British royal family to brands or people they support.

“He holds her in high esteem. I’m sure he will be honored to implement a major royal first,” she said, adding that Charles, 76, is keen to give his “beloved” daughter-in-law the royal honor. The beloved royal will be the first Princess of Wales in 115 years who will be granted the honor.

Looks like King Charles is in the mood to be generous, because he's reportedly considering letting Kate Middleton bestow royal warrants—which (per the royal website) are "a mark of recognition to people or companies who have regularly supplied goods or services to the Royal Household."
