Connor Zilisch will miss the NASCAR Xfinity Series race weekend in Texas due to a back injury sustained at the Talladega Superspeedway.

NASCAR has issued a playoff waiver to Connor Zilisch after the No. 88 Chevrolet driver was ruled out of the Texas NASCAR Xfinity Series race with back injuries.

Connor Zilisch is sitting out of the NASCAR Xfinity Series race at Texas for a lower back injury from Talladega. Zilisch complained about back pain immediately after hitting the inside wall on the backstretch last week.
