One short week ago, Detroit Lions safety Kerby Joseph was left off the NFL Pro Bowl team, despite leading the league with nine interceptions and earning the highest grade at his position (90.7) from Pro Football Focus.

Lions safety Kerby Joseph was one of, if not the biggest snub from the Pro Bowl roster this season. The Associated Press helped rectify that problem by naming him to the First Team All-Pro. Joseph received 37 first-place votes, leading all safeties. He is joined on the First Team with Green Bay Packers safety Xavier McKinney (31 first-place votes).

The Associated Press revealed its 2024 All-Pro team on Friday, and a total of six Detroit Lions were selected between the first- and second-team squads. And, yes, Kerby Joseph was one of them.

The Detroit Lions had their best regular season in franchise history, finishing 15-2 and earning the No. 1 seed in the NFC and a second straight North Division title.

St. Brown and Sewell have now both made back-to-back All-Pro first teams just four seasons into their NFL careers. Fox earned his first first-team nod in his fifth season in the league (he was a second-teamer as a rookie), while Joseph earned his first selection in his third year.

Six Detroit Lions have been named to the All-Pro teams by the Associated Press, including Kerby Joseph, who was notably snubbed from the Pro Bowl.

Seven Lions players were named to the Pro Bowl roster, which was announced Thursday. Safety Kerby Joseph was not one of those seven. Instead, it was Green Bay Packers’ safety Xavier McKinney who got the nod at free safety.
