While Democratic senators expressed concerns over attorney general nominee Pam Bondi's loyalty to President-elect Donald Trump at her confirmation hearing Wednesday, she promised that under her leadership the Justice Department will have "one tier of justice for all.

Pam Bondi sought to allay the concerns of Democrats who said they feared Trump and his allies would use the Justice Department to target their political enemies.

Bondi served as Florida’s attorney general for eight years and before that she was a local prosecutor for almost two decades.
