Roots Picnic announced its 2025 music artist lineup on Instagram on February 17. Hosted by the American hip-hop band The Roots, the annual music festival will take place on May 31 - June 1, 2025, at The Mann Center for the Performing Arts in Fairmount Park,

The event, scheduled to take place at Philly’s The Mann in Fairmount Park on May 31 and June 1, will see D’Angelo making his grand return to the stage alongside the Roots. The last time the R&B singer publicly performed was during the Netflix is a Joke Comedy Festival at Los Angeles’ Hollywood Bowl in 2022.

The Roots Picnic is officially happening, and the artist lineup is an eclectic blend of talent.
