Due to an unexpected change in the dry dock schedule for the Disney Fantasy, Disney Cruise Line canceled multiple fall 2025 sailings on the ship. The cruise line canceled four Disney Fantasy voyages that were scheduled to depart between Oct. 20 and Nov. 12, 2025, according to Disney Cruise Line Blog.

The cruise line has revealed it will be building a fourth Wish-class ship, a sister ship to the Wish, Treasure and Destiny, plus three smaller ships to join the fleet.

The Disney Treasure may be a sister ship to 2022’s Disney Wish, but it has enough unique features to give it its own identity. The ship made its maiden voyage out of Port Canaveral on Dec. 21, beginning a spate of year-round seven-night Caribbean voyages,

Having recently hosted the maiden voyage of its sixth ship, Disney Treasure, the company is intent on building up a 13-strong armada by 2031, including two new ships this year - one of them a 6,700-passenger giant with the longest rollercoaster at sea.

Disney Cruise Line unveiled new details about its fleet expansion that includes four new ships that joining its lineup between 2027 and 2031. The expansion includes three vessels in a completely new ship class and a fourth addition to the existing Wish class.

Disney currently has six ships in operation. By 2031, it will have 13. Tree of the ships now are based at Port Canaveral.
