Wednesday is a snow day for Knox County Schools students. The district announced schools will be closed Wednesday due to the impending snowstorm. "Based on forecasted inclement weather and the potential for difficult driving conditions, Knox County Schools and Central Office will be closed on Wednesday, February 19, 2025," the district posted.

"Out of an abundance of caution and to allow buses to run during daylight hours, Knox County Schools will start two hours late on Friday, February 21, 2025. Central Office, executive principals, and school security will report one hour late," KCS posted on its Facebook page.

Cumberland County Schools and buildings will remain closed Friday following sleet and snow in the area, the district announced Thursday. Officials said the decision is because freezing temperatures Thursday night are expected to make roads unsafe for travel into Friday.

Here's a look at which schools are closed, which are on delay, and which are having remote learning days. We certainly enjoyed the beautiful snowfall this morning but are glad to see conditions improving throughout the day.
