The New York Knicks are moving on to the second round after they survived the Detroit Pistons, 116-113, in Game 6 on the strength of a Jalen Brunson game-winning 3-pointer with 4.3 seconds to play.

Brunson, who had 40 points, helped clinch their first-round series after the Knicks blew an 11-point lead in the fourth quarter.

Jalen Brunson's New York legend just keeps growing. Detroit was ahead by 7 and 2:30 away from forcing a Game 7 back in New York, but as has been the case all series, the Knicks executed better down the stretch.
