Police say the incident happened just off Waipahi Highway around 11am. St John have dispatched a helicopter to respond, while Worksafe has been advised.

There are currently three active fires burning in the Los Angeles area, according to the California Department of Forestry and Fire. The three active fires are the Palisades, Eaton and Hurst blazes.
