The Sac River (pronounced sock) is a river in the Ozarks of Southwest Missouri. It is 118 miles (190 km) long, [3] with headwaters in western Greene County. The stream passes through the northeast corner of Lawrence County then re-enters Greene County. The stream enters Dade County northwest of Ash Grove.

The Sac River is a sixth order stream where it enters Truman Reservoir. The Sac River basin is primarily rural. Land use is primarily pasture/grazing, with smaller amounts distributed among forest, row crop, and urban land practices.
