Problems with smart fasteners - DASSAULT: SOLIDWORKS 3D …
Sep 23, 2024 · I am having some trouble with Smart Fasteners (SF). I have a plate with 2 tapped holes in it. The plate has 2 configurations (right hand side and left hand side). The holes are the same size and positions in both configs. The way I created 2 holes was this: I created one hole using Hole Wizard and then feature patterned it to get the second hole.

Aug 20, 2004 · After the smart fastener is created, when you go back into the property page, the option to flip will be gone. At that point, you need to redefine the mates manually. (Or at least, it works this way in SW2005 SP5.0.) Maybe that annoying behaviour is worth a bug report/feature request, if it's still present in current versions of SW.

Distance Between on isometric in draft - Siemens: Solid Edge
Nov 1, 2008 · I am trying to add some dimensions to an isometric view in a draft (Solid Edge v20). The Smart Dimension tool works fine. But I also need to add some dimensions using Distance Between, and after many attempts and searching Help/Forums, I still can't work it out. An example is shown in the attached graphic.

Jan 16, 2009 · Yes, there are 2 blue undefined lines in the sketch that makes up the main portion of the part. I'm not sure how to fix it though. I have it dimensioned with Smart-Dimension, but it is still blue. Ill post it up if anyone would be kind enough to look at it for me. If I try rescaling up 100x it just crashes solidworks.

Split a part into two pieces; two separate part files
Dec 28, 2006 · Ok, Foundation (no Advanced Assembly Extension), Solids or Surfs; no matter except for the functions used. I don't know of a button that will split a part and create two parts.
